Terms of Service

1. Acceptance of Terms.

Surnaturelle Webosting Services would like to welcome you. Surnaturelle provides its service to you subject to the following Terms of Service ("TOS"), which may be updated by us from time to time without notice to you. By completing and submitting the online order form for Services through Surnaturelle, you are signifying your agreement to these terms.

2. Overarching TOS from North Shore Webhost, LLC.

Surnaturelle Webhosting Services is a subsidiary and daughter company to North Shore Webhost, LLC. Due to this relationship between Surnaturelle and her parent company, all clients of Surnaturelle are subject to the Terms of Service of North Shore Webhost, LLC., in addition to those of Surnaturelle. Therefore, Surnaturelle clients should familiarize themselves with the North Shore Webhost TOS and consider those of Surnaturelle to be further additions to these overarching terms. 3. Privacy

Surnaturelle Webhosting Services will not sell, distribute, reveal, or otherwise make available any customer information. Should we need to contact you directly regarding your specific account or service we will do so via email only.

If you are ever unsure if an email has originated from Surnaturelle, check in your Client Area Emails. All emails from Surnaturelle sent after April 13, 2007, will be visible in that area.

COPPA Compliance

Because Surnaturelle must collect personally identifying information (email addresses),you must be over the age of 13 to order from Suranturelle.

4. Satisfaction Guarantee

If for any reason you are not satisfied with our service, you may cancel and ask for a refund at any time. Simply log in to the Client Area, view your Hosting Packages, then view the details of the domain. If the plan is cancelled within the first month, we will give you a complete refund less the cost of the domain registration if applicable. After that one month period, you will receive a prorated refund for the time remaining on the plan.

There are no refunds for domain registrations.

5. New Accounts

Upon submission of your order, an invoice will automatically be generated and sent to your email address. It will contain information on how to submit your payment. Once the payment has been received, your domain will be registered (if applicable) and your account will be created.

7. Overage

Our service plans are designed to accommodate a wide variety of usage scenarios given the needs of our customers. However, your usage may vary and require additional resources, specifically in the areas of space and bandwidth. We will never charge your card automatically if your account requires more resources. You must keep your email address updated within your cPanel, so that you may receive an email when your account reaches certain limits determined solely by our system, ie. bandwidth exceedment warning at 80% at which time you may contact us to purchase a higher transfer quota for your account. If you do not contact us, the system will automatically suspend your site if your allotments exceed.

8. Prohibited Content

As of January 2007, Surnaturelle will no longer allow installations of the following scripts on the server:

In addition to the aforementioned scripts, the following content is also prohbitied on Surnaturelle's portion of the server:

Surnaturelle reserves the right to remove any account which contains any type of content which is deemed inappropriate by the owner of Surnaturelle.

Surnaturelle also reserves the right to remove any account which it deems libelous, slanderous or threatening to any individual, institution, Surnaturelle.net or its owners. Violations of this Prohibited Content clause will result in the immediate suspension of the violating account, pending termination.

Please note: This list is subject to change based on the general web environment and situations which arise within it.

9. Support

Surnaturelle will always offer unconditional support for our hosting and domain registration services, and will always be willing to answer any questions posed by potential or existing customers to the best of our abilities. We will also attempt to aid our customers in more general, less Surnaturelle-related issues, such as issues with various scripts or coding in general, but please be aware that this should not be the primary source of help in these areas, and may not be readily available at all times.

10. Upgrades

If you would like to upgrade your plan at any time, email hosting@surnaturelle.net. The cost of an upgrade is equal to the difference between the two plans less used time. For example, if you bought your hosting in April and wish to upgrade in August from Plan 3 to Plan 6, the cost would be $20. (The cost of the remaining 8 months on Plan 6 would be $28.68, whereas the cost on Plan 3 would be $8.68.)
